Finding a way forward, January 2018.

"We proceeded on." William Clark across the whole bloody country.   Write one page, listen to fantasy stories like "The Book of Dust".   So wonderful to get lost in a good story.

Story better than life. Here we are, 2018 - wondering what lies ahead.

Love this photo and the idea of it.  Be in a great location, that promotes creativity or the convivial feeling that you are sharing a space with other like minded types creating something.

Listening to the "Paris Architect" being read/told.   Listening on edge of my seat.  I do love Audible and the "luxury" of listening to great novels and stories.

What will I do?  I need to - I think - plan the day.  Like when I was riffed from GE (twice) jI approached the time without work - like finding work was the job.  And it was the job until I found a job.

Each day:
Yoga, or going for a walk, taking a fitness class, lifting weights. There are options for fitness whether it is doing something outside or at one of the locations.

Work?

I should/could keep a bullet journal of activity.

Practice a language?  That could be daily.  There are tools.

Practice mindfulness.

Have a weekly call with someone?  Keep a daily gratitude journal.

Plan spending time in the EU - rent an apartment for Christmas Holiday.

Decide what to write?  Take classes from the Loft.

Investigate attending a spiritual retreat at Mount Abbey - but really, decided I could pursue being an Oblate via St Ben's or St John's in MN.  More familiar and renown.  I may consider Mount Abbey but will have the time to be at the MN Benedictines.

Paint, create art journal, paint in Moleskin journal and online.

Volunteer - for example Julia's art after school projects.

Read.

Participate in some of the open studio times - the Art Loft or Trails End for example.

Go to meetings and go to coffee.

For the Loft writing class - what should I write?  An essay?  Think about this.  My intention stated for class is to write twice a day for 30 minutes.  I have done that today.  I want to develop "content".
Maybe I can write an essay about the huge life transition I am working on - creating right now.

Here I am - my new Everlane backpack for my Surface - the tool that will help me create a new space and move forward.
