Watching other artist via Pinterest or YouTube and learning how to do small landscapes - really work I have done before, but have always used large pieces of paper. Easier to be disappointed when looking at your work in a larger format.
Small work suits me right now. More of a "practice", do many small paintings. I also am in a different place. I do not expect perfection. I quietly enjoy the practice of it.
I accept that all work, my work is perfect and part of my practice. I remember to do slow art, during short periods of time, Simple drawings or paintings.
