Early June we made the trip back to MN and Big Pine Lake. Felt "right" being back. Great not having to drive "home" on Sunday afternoon.
Took days to get settled and still working on it. Very humble little cabin, but more pleasant with the small amount of improvements that we made.
I have managed to paddle almost every day - I begin quietly, lifting the paddle out of the still water, going around the island - being on the lake is familiar and comfortable.
I follow the mergansers, the loons.
